**UPDATE**

If you log in to the site with your Username and Password, you can now edit your Profile using the option on the sidebar.

We also now have private message facility built into the site, try it out.

We are working on other new features to the site as we go, so please keep looging in and we will post little updates like this one.

A new 2010 theme for the site is in production too, we will send some screenshots soon.

The first BBMUG meeting of 2010 will take place at The Cadbury Heath Social Memorial Club on Monday the 18th of January.

Topics for this meeting are still under consideration and subject to change, but should include:

- 8:00pm – 8:15pm – Introduction from our chairman, secretary and treasurer notices
- 8:15 – 8:40pm – Security on your Mac
- 8:40 – 9:00pm – iMovie Demonstration

- 9:00pm – 9:15pm – Break for drinks/chat

- 9:15pm – 9:40pm – Photoshop Tutorial

If you’d like to demo a piece of software to the rest of the group please let us know and we’ll schedule your slot in for the last segment.

A quick heads-up for you all. November’s meeting takes place on Monday 16th November at the Cadbury Heath Social Memorial Club, from 8:00pm.

Well a big hello to both new and old members,

I hope you have all enjoyed The Bristol & Bath Mac User Group meetings so far this year, and have found some helpful information and also enjoy the various tutorials given both by fellow members but also Apple in Cabot Circus.

I thought with Halloween rapidly approaching, I would jazz up the bbmug site and add some new themes and content, I’ve also now updated us to the latest wordpress and added a few new funky features.

Cadbury Heath Social Memorial Club have a Halloween party orgainised,  I’m not sure on the details and would recomend you contact them if you intend on going along.

Anyway if you’re in a holiday mood and want to use the Halloween theme, then you can just change it using the theme switcher in the menu bar on the right under the login boxes.

Anyway, have a fantastic Halloween what ever you decide to do :p

A big thank you to all who attended last night’s (19th October) Apple Store meeting.

Those of you who were unable to get along missed a 1.5 hour long session covering the basics of Snow Leopard, and beginners guides to Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

November’s meeting is due to take place on Monday the 16th, but the landlord of Cadbury Heath Social Memorial Club needs the room for another function, so we’re looking to make a one-off change to either the venue or date.

More news soon.

The next meeting will be held at The Cadbury Heath Social Memorial Club on Monday the 21st of September.

With a very successful July meeting taking place last Monday we’re now planning our next evening, which takes place on Monday the 17th of August.

At present we’re on the lookout for things to demo at this meeting. However, if you’d like to present a small talk we’d love to hear from you.
